· What is Brucellosis: Infection in cattle that can cause abortion or premature calving.

· Why Vaccinate: To reduce spread of infection, each calf must be identified as vaccinated in compliance to state and federal regulations.

· When to Vaccinate: It is recommended to vaccinate replacement heifers between 4-12 months.

· How to Vaccinate: After the heifer is vaccinated, a tattoo and official ID are placed representing year of vaccine and identification.
